Change Nintendo DS Being MP3 Player

Since its release in 2004, the Nintendo DS handheld console has seen four iterations (Original, Lite, DSi, DSi-XL) but some of them do not include certain features that can be expected from a handheld device with touch screen functionality. Nintendo DS is able to function as a PDA or handheld multimedia devices, but Nintendo has chosen to remain mostly focused on video games.

Meanwhile, Sony PSP, a direct competitor to the DS, has the ability to not only play games, but watch movies, play music, and more. This has made it far behind the Nintendo DS.
In this article will explain basically how to turn your DS into an MP3 player so you can add functionality to play music for the handheld console, so you may not need to buy a new iPod.
There is a relatively easy way to unlock the hidden potential of the Nintendo DS.

Buy Flash Card
The first thing you need to do is buy a flash card for use with your DS. A flash card is a card game that contains flash memory that you plug it in and as if you were playing other games. This allows you to add more functions, such as running an application that allows you to play MP3, Ogg Vorbis, and AAC. The nice thing about flash cards is the convenience provided, ease of use, and they will not void your warranty like some other methods.
There are various brands of DS flash cards and all of them has its own set of features and quality. Well-known brands including CycloDS, M3, and the Acekard.

Download & Install MoonshellNow that you have a flash card, you need to be able to play music. This is where the Moonshell comes as the unofficial multimedia player for Nintendo DS. It can be used to play music, watch videos, view photos, read text, and a few other things.
To install Moonshell, follow these instructions:
1. Mounting MicroSD card to your PC using the USB loader from Acekard kit.
2. Download moonshell from the official web site.
3. Run or unzip the file to a directory and then run the setup.exe file. It will prompt you to select a language.
4. Select the card you mounted earlier.
5. This will start to copy files.
Once that's done, you can also go ahead and copy the MP3 to a Removable Disk, too. Then safely to eject the USB reader and card.
6. Plug into your DS Acekard and Acekard hidupkan.Pilih to load from the main menu.
7. Select the program to run Moonshell. On your first boot, it will prompt you to select a language.
8. After it is loaded (takes a few seconds) you will see the file explorer on the bottom screen where you can select the MP3 to be played, the top screen you'll see instructions on how to play songs, change volume and so on.
9. Now simply select the songs you want played, and if all goes well, he will begin to play immediately. Continue to add more MP3s to your SD card as needed.
