Ultimate Spider-Man Review

http://fullrom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/0113-Ultimate-Spider-Man-U.jpg

Story
After a fight with the R.H.I.N.O., Spider-Man gets his first foreshadowing of Venom returning when his Spider-Sense overloads. That night, Silver Sable & her Wild Pack assault Venom, who fundamentally escapes. In the work of a field trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Peter gets his "Eddie headaches" again & fights his former mate on the roof. However, Venom is later captured by Silver Sable. Kept confined in an energy cage, Bolivar Trask & Adrian Toomes persuade Eddie to check the suit for them as they knew Eddie & Peter's parents. His first check is to battle the recently escaped Electro where they fight over a knocked out Spider-Man in Times Square. Venom won't let Electro kill Spider-Man & ends up fighting & defeating him. Before Venom can eliminate an unconscious Spider-Man, S.H.I.E.L.D. interferes & Venom makes his escape. Nick Fury wakes up Spider-Man as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents arrest Electro. Venom returns to Trask where they reveals to Silver Sable that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. They then transforms & is chased away by the Wild Pack.

The game begins with a recap of Spider-Man's (Peter Parker) first fight with Venom (Eddie Brock) before they disappeared. Spider-Man fights Venom on the high school footy field on a rainy night, before spanning to the middle of a street where Venom was believed to be killed by a downed, live power line. months later, Parker has resumed his normal life & has forgotten about Venom. After stopping Shocker, Spider-Man ends up in a race against Human Torch. Meanwhile, Eddie, who is actually alive, has been feeding on people randomly in a nearby park & proves his strength in a fight with Wolverine in to a bar & then in to a next-door building.

Gameplay
As the game progresses, Parker/Spider-Man & the player will have positive "City Goals" to accomplish in order to continue the storyline. There is additional activities throughout the game such as finding secret tokens, landmark tokens, comic book covers, & competing in trick races.

In Final Spider-Man, the player can experience a free-roaming city surroundings that covers Manhattan & Queens. The player starts in story-mode where the game automatically switches between Spider-Man & Venom. Spider-Man travels by web swinging, but the player must shoot a web at an actual building to swing, much like in the earlier game, Spider-Man. Spider-Man makes use of acrobatic assaults. Venom travels by using his symbiote to pull himself & by performing immense jumps. Venom assaults using his claws & tendrils. Venom can also throw cars at targets & perform much more brutal assaults, including eating people in order to gain health.

Kirby Super Star Review

http://gamez-gear.com/ds/images/uploads/ds_game_cover_art/ds_game_boxes/Kirby%20Super%20Star%20Ultra%20cover%20art.jpg

Gameplay
Kirby Tremendous Star allows Kirby to copy the abilities of his enemies, & then perform a variety of assaults using these abilities. Kirby wears different hats & changes color according to the ability they is using.

of the one-of-a-kind features of this Kirby game is the addition of a "helper". The helper is an enemy-turned-friend who follows Kirby around & helps fight enemies. A second player can use an additional controller to control the helper, making a solo experience in to a two-player adventure. The helper also sometimes has abilities that Kirby does not when taken control of by a second player. For example, if Kirby got a Wheel Kirby power & turned it in to a helper, Kirby could ride on the helper. While Kirby would die after falling in to a pit, a helper character had no such vulnerability. Most of the mini-games have two-player modes as well.

Kirby Tremendous Star plays like a standard 16-bit period platforming video game, in which Kirby, the main character, can go left, right, up & down on a dimensional plane. Throughout each level, Kirby must avoid touching environmental hazards & a variety of enemies, who mostly have their own assaults. Kirby has a health meter, & when this is depleted, Kirby loses life & returns to a save point. In the event that they loses all of his lives, the game ends.

The Cornstalker is not fooled by his plan and steals the actual. Mackenzie gives chase and manages to recover the relic while The Cornstalker escapes again.

Episode three- Deliverance, The curse of cumulative destinies

Mackenzie, Penelope & Chloe are on a field trip to the museum (which turns out to be a museum about Mayor Tom only) when suddenly somebody vandalizes his statue. Mackenzie decides to inquire in to, using this chance as a document, & accidentally becomes Harrison's assistant. With the help of Penelope & Chloe, they manage to move the human fossil in to Mayor Tom's museum only to be given the shocking news that the human fossil is actually the Fossil Hunter who is meant to be cursed. The next day, Mackenzie receives a warning letter from the Cornstalker announcing that they designs to steal the amber from the museum. Harrison is about to hold a press conference (although no came to listen) when Inspector Daria arrives. With the help of the security guard & her new partner, Chloe, they decides to guard the museum. They makes everyone leave the museum to prevent the Cornstalker from entering under a disguise. Thanks to a trick, Mackenzie manages to enter the museum only to witness the shocking appearance of an alien hitting a hole in the Mayor's portrait. After that commotion, Harrison enters to ask her where the artifact is. They lies to him & manages to replace the actual amber with a fake.

Episode four- Recollection, An illusion hidden in the melody
Penelope rushes in to Mackenzie's office to tell her that they has seen a corpse inside the Haunted Mansion's greenhouse. When both of them return there, they (& Chloe who suddenly appears) recognize that they is not actually a corpse & assume that they is sleeping. They then try to devise a way to wake the person up. After a giant alarm clock fails to wake him, Mackenzie manages to touch the body & tells them it is only a doll. They also finds a hole in it & makes use of the wind-up key that they found inside the mansion. The doll wakes up & introduces himself as Silver. They says they doesn't know why they can talk & thinks they has an argument as they lost his voice & cannot sing normally anymore. A very long time ago, they was singing in a party when a bright flash blinded him & after that, they could not sing.

Episode five - Invasion, A vendetta of afar
Chloe & Penelope burst in to Mackenzie's office to tell Mackenzie that Chloe has found a raffle voucher for which the grand prize is some Mongolian beef. Simultaneously Penelope desires to visit the Ancient Artifact exhibition that shows the Seabottom Dwellers' artifacts. The of them pick to search for more tickets in order to join the contest. In the work of that time, Mackenzie finally receives her ID card from The Great Detective's Society, although he hates her title name. Gameplay
The player controls the titular detective Mackenzie as they solves mysteries in the tiny town of Osawari. Both the art style & the plot reflect a subtle fantasy mood for example, the first case is to track down a thief who is stealing someone's dreams. Aside from the main plots, there is as well as a substantial number of tiny bonus mysteries that involve much simpler tasks. There is as well as a Touch Laptop computer containing a list of major items in the game the player has touched.

The game is entirely controlled by the touch screen. Tapping a location on the screen will talk to a character or examine an object. The player has an stock of items collected, & may use them on other items or objects in the environment. The player can also communicate with the characters along conversation trees or present stock items to them to learn new knowledge. Mackenzie's pet mushroom, Funghi, is used as an aid in some puzzles.

Finding a way to persuade everyone to nod off simultaneously that Penelope does, he is then able to cease the fleeing figure and reveal it to be the pastry chef in town. The chef admits to the crime, using the crystallized dreams as an ingredient in her Sweet Dream Cake dessert. Fortunately, Penelope and the chef agree that the chef will only take Penelope's dreams one time a week.

Penelope goes missing, and on inquiry, it looks like her room was broken in to. However, it is revealed that Chloe, looking for Penelope before Mackenzie, broke in and tried to find proof. However, irrespective of Chloe's bumbling, Mackenzie is led to the planetarium and its unusual owner, as well as a small girl that seems to like playing with dolls. After catching the owner purchasing girls clothes in sizes huge for the girl, Mackenzie soon discovers that the planetarium owner lured Penelope and now is keeping her in a secret room under mind control in order for her to be the small girl's mate. Mackenzie can rescue Penelope, have the owner captured, and befriends the small girl so he won't be lonely again.

The owner of the rink is worn out of living in the chilled and is looking to close the rink down, causing the temperature in the rink to rise and threaten the life of the fairy. Chloe comes up with near-disastrous ideas for saving the fairy, but Mackenzie realizes all they need to do is make it snow so the fairy can be get out from the ice rink and to a more comfortable location. Mackenzie helps Chloe in enchanting a spell that summons forth an "angel" (Penelope in an angel outfit) but manage to make snow appear, and thus successfully freeing the fairy.

However, when a immense anvil very kills all the fleas, the trail leads elsewhere to Dover, of the ex-performers. His elderly circus act, animating tattoos on his back, was ruined due to a flea bite, and has been out of work since, and thus took revenge on the flea circus to try to get back in to stardom. However, Mackenzie can cease him and save the fleas. Or will he?

Sakura Note: Ima ni Tsunagaru Mirai

Sakura Note.jpg

Story
Sakura Note is set among towns & their surrounding countryside. The player takes control of the protagonist, who is an average, fifth grade boy. A girl named Nanami Yoshida has moved in to his neighborhood, but they happens to be targeted by a local gang of ghosts. This is somehow connected to a pair of cherry blossom trees set among the towns, of which is withered & dying, while the other blooms lively. The protagonist decides to seek out the truth of both mysteries by speaking with the inhabitants of the villages.

Gameplay
The gameplay of Sakura Note requires the player to interact with various non-player characters (NPCs) by the "My Fate System". Using only choices in a conversation, the correct choice will lead the NPC to shed tears. These tears can then be used to unlock more of the storyline. The player is also able to battle enemies for tears; like in conversations, button is denoted as a "courageous" action while the other is an "evasion" action. Using the latter will decrease the number of tears obtained at the finish of the battle.

Gameplay
Almost similar to the gameplay of Tomb Raider: Underworld

Music
Legend has the longest score of the series. It took nine months for Crystal Dynamics' in-house composer Troels to finalize the composing method. Over hours of raw material resulted, becoming & a half hours of in-game music by the microscoring method, including looping cues & individual accompaniments to cinematic scenes. All material is produced using application & Folmann's personal soundtrack.

Nintendo DS More Popular than 3DS?

Nintendo has just announced that the Nintendo DS sales reach two times more than the new consoles 3DS. Companies in Japan revealed that they sold 386,000 Nintendo DS units, two times more than the 143,000 units sold 3DS until June.

Possible popularity Nintendo DS is associated with a lower price when compared with 3DS. But more disappointing for sale 3DS, game publisher has not released some titles of the most anticipated DS games, like "The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time 3D".

The gaming industry does not make the leap that is too big as Nintendo had hoped. Although Nintendo said that they managed to achieve sales of 400,000 units 3DS in the first week in America, but overall sales are still far from what they expected.

Tomb Raider: Underworld Review

http://tomb-raider-anniversary.com/tr_underworld_packshots/TRU_NDS_PACK_FT_2D_UK_v2.jpg

Story
Tomb Raider: Underworld begins with Lara Croft in the halls of her own mansion home when an explosion suddenly sets the whole building ablaze. Making her way to the front door, Lara is surprisingly fired on by of her closest friends, Zip. The game then rewinds back in time to a week before the explosion, after the events of Tomb Raider Legend. Lara is looking for Avalon, the mythical resting place of King Arthur, hoping it will lead her to an explanation for the disappearance of her long lost father. Underneath the Mediterranean Sea Lara discovers an ancient temple designating itself as "Niflheim", of the lots of Norse underworlds. Deep within, they discovers of Thor's gauntlets. Most of the gauntlet crumbles to dust when they touches it, except for a little stone on the wrist that glows with an eerie blue light. Some mercenaries arrive & knock Lara out. When they comes to, the lead mercenary detonates a bomb that seals Lara in the gauntlet chamber, while remarking that "Amanda Evert sends her regards."

Lara escapes the temple & returns to the surface, noticing a immense cargo ship nearby. Lara boards the ship. In the coursework of a firefight between Lara & the guards, an explosion occurs & the boat begins to sink. While evacuating, Lara comes head to head with an elderly enemy, Jacqueline Natla, whom Lara believed they had killed in Tomb Raider Anniversary, but who had actually been discovered & imprisoned by Amanda. Natla tells Lara that the Norse underworld, Helheim & Avalon are & the same & that they will need to find Thor's Hammer to open the Underworld. Lara soon discovers that they will must find Thor's other gauntlet & his belt in the event that they wishes to find & wield the hammer. Natla provides Lara with a beginning point for her search in this quest - coastal Thailand.

Gameplay
Differences from earlier iterations in the series are that Lara's surroundings reproduces a more "interactive world that reacts and remembers", such that footprints left in the mud or mud transferred to Lara's knee from kneeling on the ground is washed away by rain, the bodies of the foes he encounters stay where he killed them, and any destruction to the environment he causes are permanent. According to creative director Eric Lindstrom, this is "to not only reward the player for the effect they are having on the world, but to give them navigational aids."The game makes use of an animation blending method that allows Lara to interact dynamically along with her surroundings, such as pushing foliage aside with or hands, depending on if he is carrying a weapon. It also features a "hybrid lighting model that combines dynamic lights with carefully created light maps" and a weather method that changes the environment, for example, "If Laraâs negotiating a wet ledge shes more apt to slip or lose grip," which makes "the surroundings \.\. her adversary" for a massive part of the game.

Music
Troels Brun Folmann composed the main theme of the game, & was the music supervisor for Underworld while Colin O'Malley was scoring the bulk of the music. Underworld's music is purely orchestral in style
