Bomberman Story DS Review

Story
Bomberman is a special agent, hired by "The Justice Department" to retrieve some stolen scientific data. It was later discovered that Professor Xeal and "The Lords of the Galaxy" were involved in the loss of this data, and so Bomberman begins his latest journey.

This game can be play with multiplayer mode
The game allows connecting to other Bomberman games in multiplayer mode. The Japanese version of the game contained the "Battle Pack 1" version of the traditional Battle Mode, which allowed connecting to Bomberman Land Touch! The European version doubled in ROM size (from 64 to 128MB) and was updated with "Battle Pack 2," which allowed connecting to the newer Bomberman Land Touch! 2 and Bomberman 2. Rising Star's web site still mistakenly states that Bomberman Story DS players can connect with Bomberman Land Touch!.

About the game
Much like the game Breakout, the player controls the "Vaus", a space vessel that acts as the game's "paddle" which prevents a ball from falling from the playing field, trying to bounce it against a variety of bricks. The ball striking a brick causes the brick to disappear. When all the bricks are gone, the player goes to the next level, where another pattern of bricks appear. There is a choice of variations (bricks that must be hit multiple times, flying enemy ships, etc.) & power-up capsules to enhance the Vaus (expand the Vaus, multiply the number of balls, equip a laser cannon, break directly to the next level, etc.), but the gameplay remains the same.

At round 33, the final stage, the player will take on the game's boss, "DOH", a head resembling moai. time a player reaches round 36, they must defeat DOH together along along together along together with his remaining additional lives because there is no continues on the final round.
