Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth Review

AAIMEcover.jpg

Story
Similar to the earlier Ace Attorney game, there is cases in the game, & to open a new case, earlier cases to be resolved. Chronologically, the game seems to happen after the trials & tribulations & before Apollo Justice. cases are introduced out of chronological sequence in the game, although each describes a series of public events connected to an international smuggling ring & the Great Yatagarasu Thieves who tried to expose the smuggling ring to "steal the truth" & reveal the facts to the public.

The fourth case, "Reversal of memories", Explaining the backstory for most of the remainder of the game.0 years before the current game, in the coursework of what became known as the "KG-8 Incident", the Secretariat of the Embassy Cohdopian, Manny Coachen, Cece Yew accused of murder, a witness for the connection of smuggling rings to the embassy. Faraday Byrne lead prosecutor, working with partner Detective Tyrell Badd, trying to punish Manny Coachen. However, key facts was stolen from them by the ring & Coachen go free. Calisto Yew, posing as sister & a defense lawyer Cece, Faraday & Badd approached after the hearing. Realizing that the justice system was powerless to punish them above the law, the forming Yatagarasu. years later, a similar murder occurs at the Embassy Cohdopian; the suspects Rell Mack claimed that they was ordered to commit murder by Faraday, a court prosecutor, pointed him out as a Yatagarasu. Rest Faraday held to replace the Edgeworth (in her first appearance as a prosecutor & his first meeting with Dick rubber boots), but before the break is done, both the Faraday & the suspect is found killed. Yew Calisto Edgeworth found that Faraday was killed with the help Rell, then kill Rell & change the scene to make it appear that they were killing each other. When they face the Yew they pulled a gun on them & claim to be Yatagarasu (including mention of partners) as well as the stooge of the smuggling ring. The young Faraday, Kay, who cheered for the death of his sister with Edgeworth, rubber boots, & Badd, they believes that his sister is Yatagarasu true, & vowed to catch the fake Yatagarasu few days.

Gameplay
This game is a standard "point and click" adventure, with the player controlling Edgeworth's movements and what they interacts with. For each case, the objective is to collect facts to select who the perpetrator is, how the crime was committed and their motive. This is introduced as a mix of a third-person view showing the characters at the crime scene and through animated close-up images of the characters, annotated by text dialog. In some cases, still images are used to highlight dramatic scenes.

The gameplay is similar to the other Ace Attorney games, with inquiry phases and rebuttal phases, which take the place of the earlier cross-examination phases. In each of the cases, the game alternates between these phases until the case is resolved; the player usually has the choice to save the game between each set of Investigation/Rebuttal phases, although, as in earlier titles, the player may also save at any point in the game. The player is given a meter, similar in function to a health bar, that tracks how close Edgeworth is to discovering the truth of what happened; making mistakes in the Logic, Deduction, or Rebuttal sections can lead to losing some fraction of that bar. Ought to all of the bar be lost, Edgeworth will have lost track of the truth, and the case will be thought about over in a bad ending (such as the arrest of an innocent person); the player will then must restart from their last save. After finishing an Inquiry phase, the player will be given a few the truth meter back.

Music
The Gyakuten Kenji Original Soundtrack was released on June 24, 2009 & it is split in to discs. Composed by both Noriyuki Iwadare & Yasuko Yamada, the cover was designed by Tatsuro Iwamoto, the game's designer & art director. It is the only game in the series to have a disc soundtrack.

Another music disc, Gyakuten Kenji Orchestra Mini Album was released with the limited edition & featured orchestral soundtracks based on music from the game as well as the earlier games in the Ace Attorney franchise.

Legend of Kay Review

 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51-kKSK6OqL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Story
The story now focuses around a figure named Kay. Kay is a hotheaded young cat, & the Master's finest martial arts student. Like lots of of the people of the races, Kay does not think in the Way, & likes to focus on physical skills & strength. This is what makes his mate, Su Ling, leave his town in disgust, hoping to find another town that would share her belief in resurrecting the Way. day, in Kay's martial arts school, Shun's gorillas & the mayor of Kay's town declare that they must shutdown the school because new 'Din schools' must soon be erected in the town. Kay is outraged, & even more so when his Master fundamentally agrees to the new terms. & so, making up his mind, Kay sneaks in to his Master's house at night (the Master is drunk, & asleep) & steals the mystical blade the Master keeps. Kay then jumps out of the town walls, & makes his way in to the wilderness.

For lots of generations, the mystical land of Yenching had been inhabited by lots of animals, chiefly felines, hares, frogs, & pandas. Because of a religious code called the Way, these races had prospered throughout the ages in their own separate towns. But as the years passed, the more youthful generations began to defect from the Way. Ultimately, with no protective code to guide the races, Yenching was invaded by the Gorillas & the Rats (known as the Din), led by Gorilla Minister Shun & Tak, the Rat Alchemist. Minister Shun now rules all of Yenching with an iron fist, & is said to reside in the volcanic mountain of Waa-Lo.

Kay's exploits vary from traversing to the Haretree (the secret residence of all the hares of Yenching), befriending a dragon (& getting fried in the method), travelling through risky swamps in order to reach Frog City (the city of frogs, obviously), & riding on a dragon to get to the Prohibited City (the city of pandas, located on a plateau), all the while defeating hordes of rats, crocodiles, turtles, bears, ladybugs, & gorillas. There, in the Prohibited City, Kay finds his mate Su Ling, who is now a ringleader of the Avalanche, a group of pandas who are dedicated to the revival of the Way, & stopping Shun & the army of Din. After helping them out, the Avalanche begins its voyage to island of Waa-Lo, with Kay in tow. After an arduous voyage, Kay & the Avalanche start to explore the caves of Waa-Lo, making their way to the middle of the volcano. In the coursework of the expedition, Kay finally catches up with Tak, the rat alchemist. After defeating him, Kay meets Shun in person. The engage in a fierce duel, with Kay being the victor. Injured, Shun runs to the contraption they & Tak created. The fires of Waa-Lo power up the machine, & start to fuse Shun & of his bodyguards in to a single, monstrous ape-like entity. With no choice left but to fight, Kay begins to do battle with the monster. As Kay strikes the final blow, Waa-Lo begins to erupt. Fortunately, the Avalanche sends a rescue team, by a hot-air balloon.

Characters

  • Kay (Casey Pitts): The main character. A cat who studies martial arts, but when his school is shut down, he goes on a mission to rid the evil rulers' stranglehold on his village and all of Yenching.
  • The Master (Lee Nguyen): The Master was the best fighter in all of Yenching, and is still able to go, but he now pefers to sit around, sleep and get drunk with Nettlemead.
  • Minister Shun (Rob Gottfried): Leader of the powerful Gorilla army, he has taken over Yenching.
  • Tak, the Rat Alchemist (Robert Fischer): The King of Rats is untrustworthy, but he still remains a lackey to Shun. In the end, Tak tries to betray Shun by consuming the volcano's power for his own, but is foiled by Shun's backup plans.
  • Su Ling (Crystal Piel) : A childhood friend of Kay's who starts a revolt against Shun's army.
  • "Bodyguard" (Kenneth Italy): Shun's most loyal lackey, and general of the gorilla army. Ends up being fused with Shun to create a single, monster gorilla.
  • Merchant (Lee Nguyen): An old fox merchant who sells his wares to Kay, offering regenerative items, tips, and weapon upgrades. He seems to be following Kay, as evidenced by his being in the most dangerous of places (i.e.: Shun's volcanic lair). He later turns out to be the Master all along, discreetly helping Kay.

Features:- Touchscreen- Microphone- Wi-Fi supports WEP, but does not support WPA- GBA backward compatibility- Can run homebrew app with the help of flashcart- Download to send the demo play games or play single-card multiplayerwith other DS users- Internal clock and calendar, including alarm
DS graphics hardware capabilitiessaid to be slightly below the PS2.

Differences NDS and NDSL
NDS NDSL as a successor couldsaid to be better than NDS in almost every aspect. NDSL is smaller andmild compared with the NDS, NDSL and thicker stylus and comfortableheld. NDSL has 4 brightness setting the second screen, where the settingas low as obvious as the only setting on regular NDS.
In addition to the brighter screen, powerNDSL battery life is also much longer. At the same brightness setting,NDSL can last almost twice that of the NDS.
If you want to search, may be excessNDS NDSL than just the structure that looked more 'robust' andGBA slot on the DS lite GBA cartridge which, when inserted, cartridge willprotruding approximately 1 cm. Not forgetting, the price of the NDS is also cheaper.
Excess
As noted above,Nintendo DS gameplay more important than the hardware capabilities. Thislook of the touchscreen and microphone that allows the DS tohave innovative games, such as:
- Trauma Center: Under the Knife(Simulation of surgeons in the future, the touchscreen is used to performoperation)- Nintendogs (Game dog that uses a touchscreen and voicerecognition to train dogs to do our command)- Cooking Mama (Cooking with the touchscreen as a medium)- Metroid Prime Hunters (the first FPS on the DS, the touchscreen is used ascontrol cameras and other things)- Chou Soujuu Mecha MG (Japanese-language simulation game where the touchscreenused as a cockpit where the robotic control)- And many more
In addition to the touchscreen and microphonefor its innovative gameplay, the other advantage is that most NDS gamesfor the DS is a simple and fun game (although there are quite a few gamesa nuanced and serious weight) so that people from different ages canenjoy the NDS.
The ability to access wireless DSnetwork and play online also be excess NDS. Online capabilitiesseveral games, both just to trade something or battle, increasereplayability and age of a game.
With the help of homebrew app, NDScan be used to image viewer, music (mp3) player, and can alsoplay video that has been converted to the format. DPG
Shortage
NDS is the most common deficienciesreferred to is the quality of graphics and sound are not so good, especiallywhen compared with its competitors, the PSP. In addition, many people are sayingNDS games that lack of 'serious' gamers for gamers, 'hardcore'.
In addition, the ability of NDS Wi-Fi, whichdoes not support WPA security which is more commonly used now, the possibilitywould only be used for playing games online. NDS is not goodused for browsing, because the browser does not support flash andmusic / video, as well as most of the hotspots are already using WPA encryption.
