About the game
Break 'Em All (also known as Simple DS Series Vol 4:. Kuzushi in Japan The Block & Brick' Em All DS in Europe) is an Arkanoid clone was released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS. The game features several single player modes, and single-cart multiplayer for up to 8 players. The game used the touch screen to control the paddle system, and activate power-ups. Power-Ups can also be activated by pressing left on the D-Pad or by pressing L.

The game was originally released on October 27, 2005 in Japan as part of the line "Simple DS" products. In early 2006, D3 Publisher announced that they will release a localized version of the game in North America under the "Break 'Em All" name




Quest mode

Both single-player game mode Quest mode. Quest mode consists of 12 levels, with each level has three stages and one boss stage a special routine. To beat the boss, the player must find and exploit weak points  Quest mode can also be played as part of multiplayer .. Up to four players can play through mode separately, with the player with the highest score becomes the winner.


 
Survival Mode

Survival Mode is a multiplayer game modes. Up to eight players can participate. In early rounds, they each choose one of four unique pedal to play as. Each paddle shaped differently than a standard flat paddle found in most Breakout style game. This mode is chosen to sacrifice Arkanoid bricks breaking the normal play mode. Instead, players must avoid the ball and obstacles thrown at them. The last player to survive the round without winning hit.


 


Power-Ups

As with many other brick breaking games, Break 'Em All systems utilizing power-ups that allow players to alter gameplay to help them progress. 12 game power-up is divided into six pairs of two, and at the beginning of the game each player must choose one of each pair. During the game, power-ups become available in order to improve the usability as a player points, although only the most recently acquired powerup available for use. If a player completes a stage without using a powerup, it will carry over into the next stage. While most of the powerups are intended to make the game easier, a few powerups make the game more difficult, but it gives the player a boost in points.
